About Kirstin

As a fourth generation, lifetime resident of Whatcom County, I know how special it is to live and work in this community. My extensive experience in sales, both in real estate and retail, has given me a great base of knowledge in customer service and attention to detail. My goal is, and always has been, to provide every client with excellent customer service throughout the real estate transaction, and continue that same level of service even after the home is sold.

I began my real estate career in 2006, however, I have been in sales for over ten years. I started my customer service background working for the Gap in 2000. Then I started working for Coach Inc. where my true passion for sales and customer service started to show through. I became a “Signature Seller” and was in the top ten sales associates for Coach Factory Stores nation-wide. I was then promoted to an assistant management position, and we became one of the top two stores in the nation for customer service. My focus on customer service and ethics has transferred over into my real estate career.

My family has an extensive history in land development, and my mom is a Realtor at Coldwell Banker Miller-Arnason as well, thus I have grown up knowing real estate. I play an active role from the “hunt” to find the perfect property or the initial pricing of a new listing straight through to the closing of that transaction and handing the keys over to the new owners. There is not an aspect of this career that I do not like…even when things don’t go as planned, I look at it as a challenge and a learning experience!

I am committed to gaining more knowledge about my career and have received designations for doing so, including: CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist), ASR Accredited Seller Representative, and I am currently in the middle of achieving my GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute).
